I know that TRL has posted of her loss.

I lost my Monster Man today. He was a wonderful cat and I am going to miss him so much. He passed in my arms this morning as I was loving on him. I rocked him back and forth, talked to him, kissed his head and told him just how much I loved him.

I am heartbroken.

Sorry to hear that Lisa. Nice that you got to help him pass away in your arms.

Sincerely sorry for your loss.

I just lost a dog recently and I know how much pets mean. I have my little guy sitting underneath the table and he's honestly like a child.

When I lost my older dog, Butterscotch, I felt horrible. She was involved in an incident and we think because of the fact she was outside there was a nasty mark on her leg. It must have settled and the infection killed her. I honestly cried knowing I could have done more, but she's gone and has been for two months... Thats why I'm so close to the little one in Scooby, he's all I got.

I understand that feeling Lisa, it sucks and honestly I have never forgotten any of my dogs. I just loved them all. I'm sorry for your loss.

Im sorry for your loss. :( Monster man is on the rainbow bridge

Lisa, know your sadness and grief. The hurt of losing Monster Man will pass and the memories will take the place of the hurt. Monster Man was lucky to have you hold him in his final moments.

The church says that animals don't go to heaven because they don't have souls. Frankly .. that's the stupidest pile of pet **** I've ever heard. Anyone who's ever looked a dog in the eyes knows they have a soul .. you can see the damn thing. Cats I'm not so sure about .. but I'm told by others that it's there too.

Personally .... the value of any pet is clear in how much we miss them when they're gone. If we didn't do good by them, we wouldn't be missing them so much.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Lisa. Those that aren't "animal people" don't get it, but pets really are both family member and friend.

Thank you all so much for caring about my loss. Looking back, I am so glad he passed in my arms. He must have felt comfortable enough to just let go.

I miss him so much but I went through so much the 3 days he was sick. It just killed me to see his body breaking down and there wasn't a damn thing I could do to help him. I blame myself for not having the money to put him down early on.
