Lots of bad news lately

It seems like there is a lot of bad news happening lately to people I know and care about. Awesome Bill's mother, 97's family tragedy, and my neighbor's wife left him again. She has left him probably a dozen times in the past, but she always comes back a few days later. This time it really seems like the real deal. Neither one of them is innocent in this deal. He admits to "slapping her a few times" and she admits to cheating on him. She also constantly berates, belittles, and pushes him every chance she gets. They are probably better off without each other, but it is still a very difficult thing to go through. They have been married for 28 years and have three grown children who all have children of their own. I have never seen him happier than when he is with his granddaughters. Of course, now there are 4 familes who are being ripped apart over two people's inability to just get along. It is just a shame. :(
 
That's too bad, but it sounds to me maybe the best thing is for them to split up. It will hurt everyone involved at first but eventually they will see that the cheating, slapping and belittling was very unhealthy for them all.

I agree. No woman has to put up with being slapped around on. And on the other side of the card. She needs to lighten up on the belittleing. Sure it will hurt for a while if they go their seperate ways. But it may be best in the long run. I feel like both of them need a little help.
