Denny's chance to make the spotlight this weekend
1000-1 on Danica? Ouch!
She's got the least number of stock car starts at New Hampshire in the entire field (one race in a Nationwide car, last year). Couple that with inconsistent performance and you get low odds.
Considering the speed , flat corners and difficulty to pass , is Louden the most difficult track on the circuit?
From National Speedsport News, just now:
Jimmie Johnson, who qualified second for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, has had his qualifying time disallowed. His car failed post qualifying inspection. The front of the car on both sides was deemed too low by NASCAR. He will start at the rear of the field for Sunday's race.
He said on TV right after his lap that the car was a 1/16" to low on the side skirt and like about a pound too light. But apparently not, ya can't believe a word that slick Jimmy says anymore either.
