MACS race at VMS pictures

OK, I went to the MACS race Saturday night, and it promised to be a great race, with 44 late models showing. With Hagerstown and all of MD and PA being rainied out, a few extra cars towed down here.

But then, after qualifying and a couple heat races, the skies opened up and the rest of the show was cancelled.

What else is new.

"Night of Fire" got washed out here at MIR. Absolutely killed ticket sales. Racing, as a whole, is getting hit this year between fighting the economy and all the races getting washed out every weekend.

It was going to be a fun race on Saturday night, too, but Mama Nature had the final say.
