Took the bull by the horns and left house so I wouldn't try to find a race on TV. LOL

Spent the day at the cat show downtown. :)

Kitties of all shapes, sizes, colors and dispositions. Fell in love with a lavender point Siamese. Waaaaaay out of my price range. Cuddled a Maine Coon cat that I sure wanted to bring home.

No, sure didn't. :(

Not that I didn't want to, though. LOL

I'll be moving around the first of the year, so I don't want to mix a new cat into the situation. As soon as I get settled, then the cat hunt will be on for real. :)

good thinking.. oh and don't become one of those scary cat ladies, you know the ones with like 80 cats:p

Never fear, 2 is the absolute limit. I want a brother/sister pair that have been "fixed". That way, I won't have to introduce them to each other, and hopefull avoid cat fights. LOL

The male will be Bristol. The female will be Charlotte. Already have names picked out. LOL

Hee! I know I'm going to be in trouble with this one, but I can't resist! :D You know the best way to have fun with cats? Twirling them around with their tails!

I'm outta here!:soldier:

Here's a true story. Our neighbors have four cats and two dogs. One of the cats has kidney problems and at the time, had to be given fluids daily, via IV. They were going up to their mountain home and ask the Mrs, since she's an RN, if she wouldn't mind doing this for them on a particular day. We went over and the neighbor showed us what to do. She showed us how to roll the cat up in a towel and explained why! Once the fluid had been given, I would then have to insert half of a tablet of Tums into the cats mouth. Well, the day came for us to do this and I had to look for the cat. I found three cats, but none of them was the right one. Finally, on the second attempt, I located the right cat and the Mrs. wrapped her up in the towel. Good thing too because those claws were really ready to do some damage. Anyway, once the fluid had been given, I took the half tablet and with one hand, squeezed open the cat's mouth and put the tablet inside. I let go of the mouth too early and got a couple of puncture wounds on my fingers! Ouch! :( Anyway, I now stay away from that cat even though she really does like me.

TRL, I have to tell you about one of the other cats that live in that house. This particular one lives solely in the basement. When I was looking for the other cat, I of course looked down there. I was walking between some shelf units and looked to my side. There in front of me one this one-eye, one-eared cat. I went upstairs and told the Mrs. I had just met the "pirate" cat and he said to me, "Arrrrr!" They really have a wide array of cats and dogs. :)

I'm holding one of my own cats right now. "Tiger" is a black/gray and white male tabby about 4-5 months old. He is really a beautiful and lovable cat. Since we raised him and his brother from around a week old, they are very affectionate. Somebody threw them out and we had to bottle feed them for weeks.

the cats at my house bite me when i'm not paying them enough atention.. stupid things like to draw blood

buckaroo, sounds like one of the weird cats my dad used to have --- named Newman. This cat like to spend the night on the roof of his house---a two-story log home. We could never figure out how Newman got up to the roof, or how he got to the the 2nd story window to come in every morning.

Strange cat.

Everybody knows that no one owns a cat. They only let you live with them. Now dogs on the other hand know where their bread is buttered. Check out my May. She wants some attention. She doesn't bite.

Dog's come when they are called, cats come when they are interested.
