Major Shakeup could be coming at Gillett Evernham Motorsports
There could be a major shakeup in the works at Gillett Evernham Motorsports.
The organization, which recently had George Gillett buy half the team from founder Ray Evernham, has been suffering from poor performance in 2007. Sources inside the group said Wednesday that the partners might shuffle the teams and drivers in an attempt to spark a competitive fire.
There is also some speculation that the organization is looking to pare down from its current three Cup teams to two leaving one unnamed driver seeking employment elsewhere.
