Over the last 5 events the Winston Cup series has held at Richmond, no one has done it better on average than Mark.

Junior is right there in second spot, good news for his fans. Bad news is that Matt is right behind Junior with less than one spot separating the two. Kevin lags a bit some 5 spots back from Matt. (That is Kevin's career average as well)

I am suprised that 9.4 is the best average over a five race period.

Interesting that Tony Raines has a 14.0 average.

Robby should be a threat to win, he had the fastest car during the whole spring race, made up 4 laps and still contended for the win.

Raines has only run here once in the series. Finished 14th.....obviously.

Tony ran here 9 times in the Busch series and finished in the top five 3 times. 2nd in 2001, 4th in 2002, and 3rd in the spring Busch race here. Average finish for NBS is 19.6

Ran here twice in the trucks. Not so great record finishing 22nd in 1997 and 28th in 1998.

D'OH!!!

Active drivers wins at Richmond

Rusty Wallace: 6 wins
Terry Labonte, Tony Stewart: 3 wins
Jeff Gordon, Ricky Rudd: 2 wins

One win: Jeff Burton, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Bill Elliott, Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin, Joe Nemechek, Kyle Petty

If not for the past two races Tony would probably be top dog here. His career average entering this race last year was just a tick over 5. Finishes of 30th in that race and a 41st here in the spring shot that average all to hell.

Must add that DJ has won twice. 1997 spring race and 1999 fall race.

hey, n2. Could you change the size of your avatar so that it's not quite so askewed? The pic is scary enough, but it needs to be just a little bit better in focus. ;)

The real scary thing is Larry Foyt has a better record at richmond than Terry Lebonte
