Mark Martin In A Backup

I'm really surprised they couldn't fix that car.

It shouldn't be the end of the world for Martin, though. Look at how well Burton's back-up car ran in the 125's. He'll just be starting in the back, which shouldn't mean much at Daytona.
 
I agree rpm allen. it didnt look like it was to banged up.
 
The backup car is probably just as good or better than the one Mark wacked the wall with.

Starting from the rear is no big deal as it's a long race where 1 lap your in 4th place and a few laps latter your in 20th. Of course it would be nice to stay up front and possibly avoid trouble.

Alot of pople got backup cars and ended up oif the the main players for the win before. He needs his drivers ed. car as the back up :p
 
Johnny Benson is also going to a backup car after hitting the wall in practice today.
 
Yeah, maybe martin will pull out the driver ed car!

they should have a special race where all the drivers compete in rental cars or something... hehe.

Dale Jerret - BIg Brown Truck
Mark Martin - Driver Ed. Car

Jeff Gordon - GoKart
Darl Waltrp - Arans Dream Machian

(seams one sided - even with these cars Jeff gordon could win if he dond't slide out around the corner :p )
