i say he MENT to do that.

i messed it just saw that one part. did they black flag him? well i say he passed the pace car they should have got him for that.:P

if i was nascar i dont care if he did not mean to do it (i know he did) i would tell Mr. Jack to put in on the traller right now. seems like the car was working good the rest of the race.

but i thought if you did something like that. hit someone and if you hit them to better toy pos ij the point nascar would dq you. (better your points ex) your 2nd in points and spin the guy in 1st) or is that just on the last race i herd it somewhere

Just can't agree with that lappy!:(

First off Mark is not like what you said........and there was no advantage to hitting JJ! He offered an explanation during the post race interviews. Sounded good to me........plus nearly 20 years of watching Mark just answered my question as to what happened.

i will say i have not watched nascar as long as ya'll about 10 years maybe off and on. but got back in to it when gordon won his 1st champ. so yes lap3 was a gordon fan. but with hours and hours of help i am gordin free :P

but mark would do that. heck the adv was to take jimmy out and give him the point lead. and i dont belive his streing stuck. about like robbie saying jimmy missed a shift it is bs.

i know more about nascar then ppl think i do and i know about roush and martin and most of the ford boys. and about chevy. but i have learned if you know something dont say it because no one will belive you so i dont say what i think/now about roush/ford now if you want to talk about it i have aol/aim lap3forever and msn [email protected] so comeone and lets talk

I don't want to argue about that.........it's history. Both Mark and JJ are pretty much out of it now. Next year is another chance for them both.:)

1) No one is out of anything. Mark can do this.

2) Mark Martin is the least dirty driver out there. Wake up lap3.

3) If you KNOW he did it intentionally, back it up. Otherwise, plug it up.

Mark did not pass the pace car till they went over the start/finish line......I saw him do it too and thought whoops can't do that, then I remembered seeing the line.

Did Mark hit Jimmie on purpose? Yea right.

The best racer on the track does not trifle with rookies. He whoops em.

And I'll do my talking in front of everyone, not on instant messenger.

You're right TWF..........I was thinking Jeffie!! Mark is most certainly not out of it!! Mark, JJ both have a very good chance of bumping Tony out of the Championship.:)

i am not basing this is MO when ford or dodge ask for some help nascar got a ince here a half here and ect ect.

but when chevy asked for help earler in the year nascar said nope not going to help.

and most of the time ford and dodge are asking for help.

back in the 90's earnhardt and childers was testing at a track they had one car one engion ect ect. and roush showed up had like 20 cars, 50 motors, 10 teanys just broght the whole shop and they was trying to keep out with dale and could not so dale came it and they put left on right and right on left and done one heck of a lap and roush could not figger out what they done and all day tryed to get that lap. while dale and richard went home.

thats true so if it is that easy to trick him then well he dont need to be in racing. and i belive martin is washed up and just having good luck.

let me end on this back at a night race martin was crying about something and a grate man by the name of earnhardt said "give the boy a towel to dry them teirs"

i can not say what i want to one here due to typing so mutch at one time.

I've watched Mark Martin race since his first day in WC. He would never take anyone out intentionally. Besides, he could just have easily taken himself out. What hurt Jimmy so badly was not coming in before the green came out. He could have done so without penalty as long as fuel was not put in the car.

Neither Jimmy nor Mark is out of the hunt for the Cup. It's not over til the last checkered flag at Homestead.

Yeah, you are right lap3. Ford and Dodge are the only ones who ever get a rules break. How silly of me. How, in 30+ years of watching this sport, could I have missed that?

Do you really want to get me going on this?

as i said thats most of the time when they ASK.

how many times did FORD and DODGE get HELP before the daytona 500 and did not help chevy for a while. and then chevy says well we some help and nascar slams the door in there face tell a few weeks ago.

the olny reasion i still watch nascar is nothing better to do. it is not racing anymore it is who has the money and can suck up the most.

hell you think if nascar said bring in 100% streetcars food and dodge would not drop. anyway does it relly mater most of the car is off a chevy wayway. they are about the same car with stickers. and dont B.S. there is nothing stock on a stock car anymore.

Mark didn't try to take Jimmy out. NASCAR doesn't manipulate the races and usually the best car wins the race.:D That's not 30 + years of following this sport........but is 20 + years. Right now Tony is the hunted........Mark and JJ are the hunters. It'll be decided in a few weeks.:D

yes ma'am (i hope i spelled that right)

sorry TRL just got worked up and everything and had to vent my self. but i will be good :)

DEW2, you are so right about Tony being the hunted. Some driver once said he'd rather be chasing than leading. Don't remember who it was.

Lap3, no harm. Everyone has to let off a little steam once in a while.

:) :)

Not sure TRW. I've heard that too (did you think I was that original?:) ) Sounds like something Dale Sr would say though. Maybe Richard Petty too.:)

Okay my drunken friend you have struck a nerve.Mark Martin is not one to whine.Mark has not whined once this year he takes things in stride and never blames anything on anybody but himself even when things are not his fought.

You seem to forget how earnhardt was always the one whining about everything.

get your facts straight before you start blabing your mouth.

:xxrotf: :bs: Ya good job you dirty rotten scandrel Mark Martin:p And nice job on slipping sawdust in the motors of the cars that Hendricks had left on the track too.

Anybody who thinks that martin would jeapordize his postition by ramming another car is not thinking. I think it was a unique situation and that nascar should have added another parade lap so the drivers could make sure there cars were safe, but if they did come in they would have to go to the back of the pack.

The whole kettle of fish was handled precisely as it should have been. Mark Martin does not deserve any special consideration, nor would he ask for it. No doubt that I am pulling for him to take this championship, and I honestly believe he will do just that. But had NASCAR bent the rules even a little, all the Gordon backers would be screaming bloody murder. All the bowtie boys would be up in arms. Much better to stick to the rule and let that race be one of 36, just like all the others. The next 4 tracks are very Mark Martin friendly. Tony has the last track locked up. We'll see what Jack and Co. have in store for the rest of the season. Tony did precisely what he needed to do; he saw both of the drivers he was chasing have a spot of misfortune, and he capitalized. That, friends and neighbors, is how championships are won. I predicted Tony before the season, and I still think it'll be him and Mark to decide it. Here's hoping some 12 year overdue justice gets served.

1st off i am not drunk

2nd off i never heard dale whine

let me say this. Dale might have whined. Mark Might but WE LISTION TO WHAT WE WANT TO, if you heard mark whine you would not even listion. same for me and dale.

i am sorry if i pissed anyone off but we all think differnt and have differnt views on stuff and thats just me on mark and roush, i dont like them, and you dont like DEI/RCR no big deal. so once agin i am sorry for all of this.

Shucks, everybody that knows anything at all about Winston Cup has got agree that Kurt Busch is gonna reel off 6 wins in a row and take the Cup by over 300 points.

Mark, Matt, and Jeff are all going to be going in to demolition derby mode in the coming weeks to ensure that the kid with the funny ears runs away with the Cup.

I tell ya folks, once my crystal ball gets tuned in there is no telling what kind of stuff is going to come out of it. And btw, have I let you know that the Angels are going to win the World Series this year?

Ahhhhh.....so you doubt the word of The Esteemed Tortoise Breeder do you?

such foolish boys........

Soon the Nevada desert will glow with the spent radiation of an entire nation. My turtles will grow in to horrible monstrousitities and all the world will tremble at their approach. You still have time to swear your undying allegience to me.

Or you can take your chances with Pinky and The Brain.

71,Say it ain't so!I was hoping that that phenominon would hold off till my childrens children grew old. :P

I can't recall Mark ever doing anything on the track that wasn't professional and courteous, within the confines of racing hard to win.

He said it was an accident. It was an accident. No doubt in my mind.

Well Lap3 looks like you see what you want to and conger up things to bash someone. Mark Martin is the least dirty driver on the circuit, and if you would have payed attention to the post race he said that his steering was locking up when he was in the neutra position. And you are not a Nascar official so you wouldnt be able to put his car on the trailer immediately so stop dreaming, drop the rag and lets race.

i was not bashing if i was bashing it would get a lot worse. i was just saying what i thought and one more thing about the steering it sure did work well the rest of the race. and why was he geting higher and higher on the track?
