That would be Tryson to the #6 car of Martin , while Ben Leslie goes to the #21 of Ricky Rudd. Both under the umbrella of Roush Racing. Not sure what effect, if any, this will have on either guy.

both of their careers are on the downward spiral and it won't make any difference in the way they run.

My thoughts exactly. I like both guys but it will take more than this to get a spark out of those old batteries.Can't see the move helping Mark at all---and Rudd only slightly.

I guess it doesn't take long to forget that martin nearly won the cup last year. One year doesn't make or break you. I see Martin and a few struggling others contending again next year.

Look for Andrews to go to the 6 next year
and Baldwin or Barker to go to the 99.
Tryson will become the new car chief for Mark next year.
I think this swap was just to help get the 21 on track for next year with the move to charlotte and all with a former Roush cc.
And just so everyone knows..things change.
in 01 nobody predicted Mark was going to go for the title in 02
In 02 nobody thought the 29 and 8 would be running for the title.
you have to remember this deal changes every year.
And next year will be no different. 01 was different then 02 and 02 was different then 03 and 03 will be different then 04. Competition is too close for next years contenders to already be determined.

I beg to differ, Alot of people, columnists,experts,ex-drivers,commentators predicted jr.,harvick,martin,busch,kennesth,d.j.,gordon,johnson and many more were predicted to win the 03 cup and it will be predicted again next year. Who will win it? Oh sure you can pick your fav driver like I do, but I will admit the compitition is too close and it's hard to say who will win it.
