Martinsville - Ambrose

G'day,

Just wondering if anyone can tell me how Australian Marcos Ambrose has been doing in the Truck championship with Woods Bros.

Marcos finished 33rd. I listened to the race while working and tried to keep tracks of Marcos for my friend Dirk down your way. Marcos did fairly well during the first half of the race, considering this was his first race and the difficulties of Martinsville. He stayed pretty much on the lead lap, but near the rear of the field. Wish I could give you a much better report, but as I said, I had to listen to the race while working and there were times when I couldn't listen. I did hear of him spinning about 2/3 the way through the race and then when I got home, I heard that he was behind the wall (out of the race). I didn't get the reason for this and because they mainly concentrate on the front runners, they didn't mention him very much. I must say though that they gave him raving reviews at the beginning of the race and said that we'll see how Crocadile Dundee does now.

He went behind the wall due to a wreck. The inside wall took out his radiator.

Ambrose is the one on the right of the pciture in my Signature, that fight happened at the Biggest race in Australia, Bathurst after the driver on the left shunted him into the wall.
