After hearing about the famous Martinsville hotdog for years on the Nascar coverage I couldn't wait to bite into one. The red colour set me back a bit but I was still willing to try, one bite and I saw all that red inside the bun and I was done.

From now on I'm sticking to Saddlers favourite, the Martinsville bologna burger. ;)

Anyone like the dog?

The only track that I buy a hot dog. I think they are delicious. You have got to get the slaw on it though.

I did get the slaw on it. Maybe it was the fact that it was cold out, the dog was barely warm and the slaw made it seem even colder. I bought it from a bunch of kids located beside the bologna burger tent. Are the ones inside the track different/better?

I think I heard on Sirius Nascar that Bob Dillner ate 24 over the weekend.

The ones inside the track are the only ones to buy. It has to be an authentic Jesse Jones hotdog.

They are very good, I get at least one every time I go to Martinsville. I've gone several times. They taste great, but they don't sit too well on the stomach on a seven hour drive back home after the race. But, they are worth it. The color is weird, but the taste is unique and flavorful.
