Even after a lot of practice the track looks the same....it doesn't seem to be taking any rubber at all.

Either Chad is a genius or a bonehead.

It will be cooler during the first part of qualifying than the latter.

I thinks Chad was aiming something here with the slow car.

Anybody else got a theory?

Other than the 48 sucks. Cause at M-ville. That's just not the 48 way.

He's no genius. We see half the field play this game every week. The #2 car comes out and runs a 2 lap semi-q run and gets to the top of the board, where they stay for much of practice. Then they stay on their race setup while everyone does late Q runs and pushes them down to 20th or 30th. The 99 has started doing the same lately.

There's going to be a 5 degree difference between 11:30 and 1. I wonder what that means as far as track temps during partly cloudy conditions?
