Do you actually pick somebody besides Gordon?
Why would he? The Great Jeff Gordon finishes top-10 more than half the time.

To satisfy Ur curiosity,I always pick Jeff Gordon at road courses, short tracks,Dover & Darlington,I do sometimes pick other drivers at any other track!
btw,I always pick Dale Jr. & Michael Waltrip (partners in crime)for any RP race, just because They're that good/luckt at those tracks,OK?
Am I forgiven for actually backing My #1 fave driver,I also picked Jerry Nadeau(one of My faves)for the Top 10,but I noticed that U didn't mention My picking Him,just say Jeff Gordon & the ABGr's come out of the woodwork!
Here's another reason that I pick Jeff Gordon often:4 Championships,61 wins,42 poles,162 Top 5's,214 Top 10's,14,421 laps led,2 Daytona 500 wins,3 Coca-Cola 600 wins,3 Brickyard 400(record) wins,5 Southern 500(tied-record)wins,7 road course(record)wins!All great reasons to pick Jeff Gordon often IMO! :D
