Maryland Tornado Outbreak

Tornado confirmed moments ago in Woodbine, MD and Sykesville, MD. New tornado warning in Baltimore County. There was a tornado spotted earlier in the Catonsville area of Baltimore and a funnel was visible from downtown Baltimore City. Also, reports of major flooding in Woodbine near where that tornado hit.

I have a lot of friends and family up there - been on the phone for the past 20 minutes.

There were tornado warning around here too. Up in Richmond area, down in the Cheasepeake/Suffolk area, I think down around Raleigh/Piedmont area of NC too.

NWS has confirmed tornado touchdowns in Baltimore City, Baltimore County and St. Mary's County. Tornado reports in Howard/Carroll County are being reviewed now.
