I live in the northeast and we are having a heatwave. It was above zero for two days in a row. The below zero temps cause alot of problems. Anyone else live up here and have the cold temps?

I wasn't too bad here in Tennessee the last couple of days. 40-50. We got a cold front come and it 25 right now. I dout that you would call 25 cold.

It must be a heat wave, it's 11 degrees here in Northeastern Pennsylvania!

Boston area raised, and moved to RI after my first marriage in '66. Moved to GA close yo 10 years ago. My family moved to Wilbraham from Weymouth for Daddy's job without me, cuz I had gotten my own apartment in '64.

Cool...another NE. person, i have been in Colorado Springs for 5 years. Way longer than i anticipated, time has a way of creeping up on you and passing you by. I really miss the winters there, i love to snowmobile and snowshoe, here in the Springs we get very little snow . I grew up in Palmer, but before i moved here i lived in Otis.

Right now it is 5 degree with a windchill of -8 here in NW Ohio. ANd poor 97 was complaining this morning that it is only 23 down there in AL.

Well, Dee. That IS cold for us here in the south. It was 29 here in North Texas this AM. We have had a very mild winter to date, with daytime temperatures mostly in the 60's but sometimes reaching into the 70's and even low 80's. It kinda shocks the system when one day it's in the 50-60's and the next it's in the 20's. Can you say pneumonia??? Huh, TRL? ;)

A couple of weeks ago it got down to 8 above. last night it was 20. Now that is cold for us thin blooded people in Tennessee.

de7, if memory serves me correctly, Gollum is in West Tenn. Around Memphis to be more precise. ;)

All I know is up at the top of my persimmon tree overlooking Buzzard Snot Ridge, it was too cold to be out and about this morning. Had to stay holed up. Literally.

I am about 115 mi north of Memphis in a small town call Union City. Close to the KY & Tn border.

Do you mean Dyersburg High School. Or Dyer High School or something else. Eather way I know where both is at.
