Did anyone else see the white thing come off the 17 car when Kenseth did his doughnut through the infield grass? It looked like it came from the Left Front wheel and I cant figure out what it was...

I saw it too, I thought maybe it was a spring rubber.
 
I think it was a drain cover that was in the infeild!! Thats what it looked liek to me!!
 
Looked like some kind of traction control device to me. Oh wait, he doesn't drive a Hendrick's car. Never mind then. :rolleyes:

I thought it may have been a spring rubber but then i started thinking that most spring rubbers are black right.
 
I read somewhere, don't remember where, that it was indeed part of the drainage system.
