Max Papis will be replacing Gil De Farron this weekend at Texas for the IRL season finaley. I hope Max Papis does a good job this weekend so he can get a ride next year.

Glad he's gonna be in a decent ride, but I do prefer him on road courses.

I'm sure he prefers road courses too. Both Gil and Helio prefer them and excel in them but of course they're going to go where the owner and sponsor want them to go. I like Max and I certainly hope he does a good job. I don't know much about his career though..... Paul, do you know his oval track stats offhand ?

I don't...but I know that Max is a fierce racer no matter what the circuit.

Oh, I see....I would rather see an oval race. I'm not a big fan of road courses...if you are at the race...you really don't get to see much of it. I guess if I do get into this Formula racing stuff; I'd be better off to stay with the INDY brand? I used to be into it before the big split, but since I went to Sunday's race at Chi-land; I've decided to give it a whirl again.

Yeah, the IRL races on ovals only, rolling deathtraps if you ask me.
I still watch it though.
But I like watching how fast a car can pick back up off a corner, how good the driver can slow down for a chicane, and bouncing off rumble strips is pure bliss.
