May 24, 1997: Tony Raines establishes a Craftsman Truck Series record for least number of starts before a driver's first win in his rookie season when he takes the checkered flag in his fifth CTS race. Raines beats Jimmy Hensley to the line by .584 seconds to win the Western Auto/Parts America 200 at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Mo. Raines also gives Dodge its first win in the series.
