Why are people still responding to OLD threads that Flyboy bumped up instead of ignoring or starting a new topic?

It's kinda like a mouse and cheese. If you put it out there, the mouse is going to take the bait. If folks would just IGNORE him, maybe he would get tired and just move on. If not, maybe he will start posting something a little more insightful. Not just baby babble. (

Those posts need to be deleted, all those posts Mr. Flyboy posted during the weekend were just unimportant one-liners that had barely anything on them, all he was just doing was peeving off the whole lot of us while trying to bump up his post count. That is his sole purpose on the board. To troll.
I tell ya, if that were on any other board I was on, that malarkey would be deleted and his rear end wouldve been banned. That behavior by Rajflyboy was completely unacceptable. Just my two cents, sorry to rant on.

Over on the hole forums mr.flyboy would of been in jail about an hour into his little trollin tirad. Don't get me wrong you mods over here do a great job, you just do it in a nice and different way, maybe we played into mr.flyboys hands because we did give him alot of attention this weekend and we are still talking about it, next time I'm just ignoring it.

Would be nice if this board had a ignore button like the TR board had. That way you could put him on the bus ( as they said on that board) and you would not have put up with his stupid post.

Yeah, that would be nice to have an ignore feature. However, I dont think the Ignore feature is utilized by the Invision Power Board system.
Until that is implemented or something else happens, we'll just have to do the ignoring, the hard way.

Happy, I do remember when you first came here, you made it a goal to get quite a few posts/day. And, yes, before you try to throw me under the bus, they were in the Thread games. BUT, like I said above, if you just ignore him and post around him, he will eventually get the hint that his posting habits need adjusting.

No, I would never throw you under the bus, matter a fact I agree with you on that point. Yes, that is true and that is the main point I am trying to get across. I didnt overflood the main forums with messages instead I posted in the thread games where it wouldnt cause a disturbance to anybody. If anyone would want to get x number of posts per day then it should be done in the thread games or done only lightly across the message boards.

Right.Uh--actually we were rebuilding the transmission. I had a heck of a time hefting it back up by myself. Fortunately those country girls have hellacious leg muscles. Better than a hydraulic jack any day of the week. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

Actually,once I got it jacked up everything went in place just as I thought it would. Yeah, it took a little effort but I finally managed. Sometimes those things can be a tight fit but you know what they say: Get everything positioned right and push like heck. I did.
