Mayfield calls in to NASCAR Live, asks Brian France to return to NASCAR

Too late, he has to many non related legal issues to run Cup races.

I was always a fan of Jeremy and I hope he makes it back.

Wow is right. Very interesting. Planed or not, it no doubt took some balz to make that call.

No doubt that this will be the hot topic later on today across NASCAR Radio's call-in shows. I've never been a Mayfield fan but I guess that if he goes through the process to reinstatement like everyone else then good luck to him. He's going to have a much tougher road ahead of him then he would have had, had he not burnt just about every single bridge that he's crossed.

I thought Brian France gave a straight up answer.
Pretty much NASCAR's stand on this whole thing from the beginning. Get with the program and get yourself back into the sport. Several others before/after him successfully completed their reinstatement to the sport.

I'm so confused anymore by all of his run-ins with the law, court appearances and the like that I don't even know where things truly stand. With all of the crap that he's been into since leaving the sport, has he been convicted of anything or had he basically been exonerated at this point?

@shanamayfield was busy after that little call in with Brian.

He's trying to work a plea deal to stay out of jail on all his other crap.

Next week, it's the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell Recycling" number ninety....

With the tagline "We can help when semiprecious metals appear in your yard".
