I didn't get to hear the interview which I see was last Friday. Anyone on here hear it? How far do you think he'll make it back into racing?

Make sure you take time to visit the Gift Shop on your way out.

I was going to go to this race, mainly for the Southeast Super Trucks. Heard both the truck race and the modified race were pretty good.

J2, huh? Lol.

I hope Jeremy one day slays his personal demons, but even though he keeps talking about a comeback, it's pretty evident this guy's never gonna race at a high level again.

I don't know why he won't just go through the Road to Recovery program. Aside from the KOMA tour which most of the drivers will abandon when Ace Speedway and Bowman Gray Stadium open up, his only other options are to race in the modified divisions regularly at Ace Speedway and Franklin County Speedway.

At this point, even if he did the RtR program, time is not on his side. Mayfield will be 45 in a couple of months, his stubbornness over the last 5 years certainly has cost him.

The J2 logo is cool. I might buy one if it was any other driver and any other circumstances.

Geech . he's older than Jeff Gordon. ....Not that there's anything wrong with that ! :)

I heard the interview last week. It was more Mayfeild saying he was going back to racing in the modified and maybe a late model.

Both Moody and Andy Hillenburg asked why he wont/hasn't completed the road to recovery program. Mayfeild said he would complete the program if he got a big time cup ride. They both said it would be easier to get a ride if he got the program behind him.

The whole interview was a waste of time because other than Mayfeild saying he was going dirt track racing we learned nothing new. Same old story and excuses.

His ego is so big I don't see how he will fit in a modified.

Thanks for that. Did have a chance to listen last weekend. I looked for the 'On Demand' of Dave's show but it has already been deleted. No doubt at the orders of BF. :D

Don't think so . Came over to Jeremy Fan Club HQ to see you and they put me right to work lickin stamps . I may be here for a while .

you should know better than to lick stamps provided by anyone associated with Jeremy.

Right. But he needs to go through Road to Recovery to compete in any NASCAR sanctioned event and most of the tracks around here are NASCAR sanctioned.

Here's the thing, when he got popped, his career was already fizzling up. Driving his own S&P car if I'm not mistaken.

If he ever wants to win a race again he needs to complete the program and go for a track championship somewhere. Even then he'll be getting his ass handed to him on a somewhat regular basis, he'll feel like he's in the Cup Series...

I would love to see him win in some stuff and complete turning his life around.

His career was drying out but that doesn't mean he can't get the job done. In his "Start and Park" car, he raced his way in to the Daytona 500. Just because he's 44 doesn't mean he won't contend for a track championship if he ran for one.

I know he can get it done. I just think even without his problems he would have never won a Cup race again, it's the business.

I also think he can perform well at a local level but I think he would probably have more competition than he thinks.

Not if he goes clothes shopping and shows up as Jamie Mayfield.

Jeremy was in charge of hiding the haul from the great scrap metal caper, so it wouldn't surprise me. Meth heads always have a plan.

Is he still facing any charges or were they all dismissed when his accomplice died ?

I still dont believe the hype. He didnt look like a meth head.. at all. I've always believed NASCAR implemented their drug testing policy and needed a fall guy.

Many meth-heads look like plain ordinary people, you would never know they did drugs.

Hey Jeremy do you know were I can get lab materials. Like sample glasses, sample bottles, stainless steel vats, mixers, and stanless steel drums.
Chemical resistant aprons, gloves etc.
I am also looking for discreet transport.
I also have cash with serial numbers that need a scrubbing service.
I need good vacuum cleaning services.
I need a good used cheap RV.
I need Saul Goodmans number.

Thx.

You may as well add T-shirts and scrap iron to your list. We know he has those too.

The problem this meth fiend has is that no one wants him in NASCAR.

You guys talking about the Road to Recovery program. I'm not so sure Brian is offering that to Jeremy. He simply worn out his welcome.

He should worry more about getting his life put together again and worry less about wanting to get back into racing or back to "the top" which I also find funny because he was a pretty average race car driver.
