The following is a statement from Larry McClure: >> In light of recent rumors regarding the status of his operation, Larry McClure, President and Team Manager of Morgan-McClure Motorsports, Inc. announced today that his familiar No. 4 team will compete full time in the Nextel Cup Series in 2007. "We currently have an agreement in place for our No. 4 car for next season and an announcement is forthcoming," said McClure. “Additionally, we are in negotiations with a prospective partner for a long-awaited second team. We have a viable team here with the necessary components for success, including our driver Scott Wimmer, and it is our intention to have Scott in one of our cars next year. The 2007 season will mark our 25th year in NASCAR’s top series and we’re excited about what’s in store for Morgan-McClure Motorsports.” ...Daily Headlines

You know...i really hope these guys can make it...they have been around for a very long time and i would love to see these guys get back on top sometime.

but they HAVE to make some changes.

you know, Robby drove for this team, I wonder if he's the prospective partner...he could bring sponsorship to it and Wimmer, if they keep him, is a damn fine driver with decent equipment...I think this could work.
