Thanks for the info T-Mac I will have to watch on the computer for how he did. I don't have speed.

5th after 1st practice.:bounce:

1 9 Matt Hagans 38.809 185.524
2 27 Sam Hornish Jr. 39.007 184.582
3 98 Erin Crocker 39.401 182.736
4 99 Erik Darnell 39.487 182.339
5 31 Tim McCreadie 39.492 182.315

Those lap times are on par with last years cup qualifying.
Nice start to the weekend anyway.:beerbang:

Someone else to maybe keep an eye on in this race, Petey Shepherd in the #39 starting 7th. It's a Roush backed car and he holds a pretty wheel in anything I've ever seen him in.

Hung in there tough to the end and finished what 4th. Darnell won with Hornish second and Croker third. Got to see the last 15 laps of the race. Damn, wish I had the race on earlier instead of fixing supper (pizza).

Crocker was third? Man thats alright then, she seems like she can drive in the ARCA series so why did she suck sooo bad in the trucks last season. She had about the best equipment out there.

McCreadie ran a pretty good race and hung in there but looked like in the end he just didn't have the car.

Hornish looked pretty good out there as well.

To answer your question, RPK, Evernham usually gets the blame for her around here. Go figure:confused:

Congratulations to Darnell and Roush/Fenway racing.

Very happy with the way they ran!
It looked to me like Timmy burnt up his tires and had nothing left on 'em at the end. He's a rookie and will figure it out but he's off to a great start.:beerbang:

They said that RC had enough confidence in him that they are putting him in the BUSCH race at Milwaukee next week.

EDIT:
For those that don't know much about Timmy. Rick Allen made mention a few times yesterday about how high on the track he was running and passing cars. He obviously doesn't know, and I sent him an e-mail for future reference, but T-Macs nickname around here is "Topside Timmy" and he's made his living running around the top, same as his dad, Barefoot. Just an FYI.

Cheers

Yes, it was nice to Hornish have a strong run and finish all the laps. Hopefully he is getting a handle on these cars.
Erin had a good run too. It will be interesting to see what happens with her now. I believe that was her last race with sponsorship so I don't know what her plans are for the rest of the year. Anyone know?

I am very happy to see that Timmy will be making his BUSCH Debut this week in the #21 RCR Chevy.

He was scheduled to do some trucks and busch later in the season but RC has been impressed enough that he is moving up the program. I just hope they aren't rushing him and leave him hanging WHEN he struggles.

Go get 'em Timmy!!:bounce: :beerbang:

Hey T-Mac I guess you are going to the Busch race this week?

I wish I could TK but It's a little late notice to go that far. If I'd have known even a month ago, I could and would have made arrangements, that's for sure.
At least it's on the tube though. :D
