MD state law--children are not allowed to move televisions

State passed a law last week stating, "children are not allowed to move televisions" because children have been killed by falling televisions.

Of all the things they can think up, this has to rank pretty high.

So, if you live in MD, don't let your 16 year-old son move his 17" flat panel TV.

There will be a new law next week stating the remote will cause children to have carpal tunnel syndrome.

I love neoconservatives, I really do.

BTW, not all the founding fathers were Christian. They founded the constitution on basic moral principles that people of all religions could be with. We were never supposed to be a Christian nation, we are supposed to be a nation of all races/religions/ethnicities.

These "compassionate conservatives" all about small government until it comes to gays and abortion. Then they want the government controlling every aspect of someone's life.
