Several of them on twitter today, complaining about how terrible it was at Kansas live and direct from the air conditioned press box.

This is exactly why you don't get a lot of short track coverage anymore. Some of the people in the NASCAR media wouldn't last an hour on a summer afternoon at Old Dominion Speedway.

What I read wasn't them complaining for themselves. Rather they were talking about shortening the races because it was awful for the drivers. It might have been Hamlin who was quoted as saying it was like sitting in a sauna for 4 hrs.

Don't the drivers have some form of cooling system? What about that hose that hooks up at the top of their helmet?
