In texas, IIRC, so much percentage of the lottery actually goes to the education budget.

Man, I was holding on to the dream that someone from my area would be the only winner and he would be a huge Cleveland Indians fan. In that dream, he gets enough money to buy the team from the Dolans. He then has enough money left over to actually spend some money on really good players, not the mediocre guys who the Dolans can afford to pay. The team then starts winning and the guy gets a huge return on his investment because they start selling out their home games, like they did 454 home games in a row when they actually spent money on players. He then reinvests that money into even better players.
