MEMORIAL DAY

With all of the activities usually associated with the first big Holiday Weekend of Summer, I'd ask all of our forum family to, at some point during the weekend, please take a few minutes to remember the real reason and meaning of the Holiday.

Take the time to remember exactly who the REAL HEROS in our world are, maybe offer up a small prayer of thanks that we have been blessed with their willingness to serve and protect the rest of us, and continue to extend your support of them.

Be safe, have fun, and thanks for your time.

I hope all of you have a very safe and happy holiday weekend.
Bless all the men and woman who bravely gave their lives for their country.

I thought this was very appropriate for this weekend........

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row
That marks our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead, Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders Fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

May the souls of those who made the ultimate sacrific, rest in the hands of the Lord. :salute:
