This wasn't really advertised locally, but Mike Massaro mentioned it at the end of NASCAR NOW. They did adverstise he was going to be at Bills' Camp though. He was at a local BBQ restaurant and we were in the area so we stopped in. We didn't even know if he'd be there or not since the time wasn't anounced, but there he was! :)

There was no one around his table, although there were quite a few people including 3 print reporters - one from Buffalo, Rochester and the AP. I went up, shook his hand, spoke to him for a few min. and then moved away since he was being interviewed. First we sat at the end of the table and chatted with the guys from Watkins Glen which scored me passes for pre-race and VL! Then I moved over to a table behing them, although Greg was facing me. It was really interesting to hear his thoughts. He said he enjoys running the Nationwide race at WGI. He hadn't spoken to Jammie Mac and had no idea what his plans may be. He also doesn't think Cup drivers should be able to run all the Nationwide races and definitely not be able to run for the title.

Here's a couple of pics I took wih my phone camera so they're no that great.

Does anyone recognize the guy sitting next to him? I thought it was his CC, but he looks different than the pics I looked at online of his CC.

That's cool that Larry the Cable Guy was with him.

Cool pictures WYN24.

I wasn't always a fan of Biffle, but with age he kinda grows on you, and I now hope he does well and makes the chase.

Congrats on the VL passes. Give Jeff a hug for me in VL. LOL:beerbang:

You got it!!! LOL :beerbang:

Here is MY dilemma. I have seats in the red grandstands after turn 1 and before the esses. They're awesome seats for watching the race. The problem? You have to backtrack around the garage and then walk around the outside of the track to get to our seats which I'm telling you, is FAR! IF we're lucky, we might find someone who will give us a cart ride. We either miss a heck of a lot of the race going back and forth OR..we don't even go to our seats (which I paid a good amount for, but better than current $) and just try to find a place to watch next to the track and not so far from VL.

There still are pit terrace tickets available, but I have to sell my tickets and then buy those. I can't upgrade like I could when I renewed last Fall. Had I known earlier, I could have tried to sell mine, but we leave Fri. a.m. Now if some nice team would let us sit on their pit box... I wouldn't mind not using the seats. Yeah, in my dreams! LOL

Biffle isn't an all-time fav of mine, but he's not one that I wouldn't want to waste even a gal. of gas to go see. He seems like a pretty OK guy and it was cool just to be there and talk racing w/him and others who love racing! Scoring those passes was great, too! I'm sure to see all of them up close and personal at driver intros compared to hoping to see some during the weekend and just seeing them pass by pre-race in the back of a truck.

The weather report keeps getting better as the week goes on, so I hope they're right! Keep your fingers crossed!!

Biffle at Watkins this weekend

I just read an informative article about Biffle and Watkins Glen this weekend.

That is really awesome. I am with tkj24 and hope you get to see Jeff in VL :D

Hope you land here for a while. Welcome back.

Thank you immensely! I think I am here to stay, no I know I am. At least until I get kicked to the curb. ;)
