Did you guys hear about his? Apparently a fan who stormed the field (ILLEGALLY I MIGHT ADD) along with several thousand other idiots got decked by a guy who was supposed to be there. This happened after Marshall beat Miami of Ohio in a football game the other night at Marshall University in West Virginia. The "fan" was an attorney who admitted to have been drinking earlier in the day. He was shoved by Miami's defensive coordinator. The fan lost his balance and fell awkwardly suffering a slight concussion. He claims to not have decided whether or not to file charges. The coach was apparently upset by what was several blatantly TERRIBLE pass interference calls that went against Miami in the closing seconds that in effect gave the win to Marshall. This was further aggravated by not being able to get to the locker room because of thousands of drunks who stormed the field. I say the guy had it coming and should shut up and go away.

What do you think?

What I heard, this "fan" got in the D.C.'s face.......and the D.C. decked him. I haven't seen any footage, other than the D.C. being lead off in cuffs, but I also heard it was a sucker punch.

I didn't see the altercation, but I saw I was watching the end of the game and they had every right to be upset. The refs totally blew two calls in a row. One of those was on fourth and goal and the DB never touched the reciever. That would have, and should have, ended the game with Miami rightly winning the game.

I saw it on SC, it is hard to tell, but it just looks like the fan approached the coach, not even directly to his face, said something and he got pushed to the ground. Regardless of how horrible the game was officiated, both men are at fault here.
