Miami to ACC?

This would destroy The Big East. I know UM lost a few bucks last year, and would like to get in on that ACC championship game and all...but this would be fatal for The Big East as I'm sure BC and 'Cuse would follow suit.

Anyone know if this is going to happen?

I sure hope it doesn't happen. I'm a 'cuse loyalist first and a big east loyalist second. If Miami bolts the big east will fall apart unless they can lure Notre Dame or Penn St, which is highly unlikely.

From what I know the acc needs 7 of the 9 teams to go for expansion and the commisioner had 6 for and 3 against(Duke, NCST and Mary)

Another team that could leave the big east is Va tech. Va tech is more geographically logical for the ACC than either SU or BC

I think that SU should leave the big east as soon as miami is out and go the the big 10. That confrence makes much more geographical sense for SU than the ACC.

The determining factor in all of this will be the all mighty dollar.

Well I live in ACC country (DUKE unc and state wake forest) are withen 100 miles of me and the word is that they are going to join. I kinda hope so cause that will make football season good
