Michael Andretti to retire after the Indy 500

Michael Andretti will be retiring as a driver after the Indy 500 so he can focus on being a car owner. Rookie Dan Wheldon will take over Andretti's ride after the first 4 races of the season.

Good luck to him! What car will he be in? Will he be able to go out on a high of a last win? That would be way kool.

I was listening to an interview with him today on the Jim Rome show. He seemed pretty certain that the IRL will be adding some road courses once CART dies.

Would be a shame to see a show like Long Beach get put to waste.
