I think it would be very hard for Michael to retire if he still has the competitive desire to race. Everyone knows he still has the skill be champion again. Walking away on top sounds good but then what does he do?

He did announce retirement after today's race. I wonder if he'll branch into announcing or if F1 will offer him a management type role. I can't imagine the sport without him having some role...

as awnold said....i'll be back. i wish michael well but doubt he can stay away. he's too good and ferrari is a first class team. either of ferrari's drivers have a problem and michael will be back. i doubt he would drive for another team.
