Michigan 1 - My Race Weekend

Similar to my Charlotte thread, I will be posting some pics of what I encounter at MIS over the next few days.

Aiden and I will be heading to testing this afternoon. We'll be taking our bikes so we can check out the scene in depth. Maybe cruise through a couple of campgrounds and see what people are up to.

I wouldn't panic. Everyone was only running one groove before the actual race at Pocono. I can't imagine a repave would change a 5+ groove track to a one groove track.

It seemed to narrow the track in the ARCA race.

The ARCA race today came down to the last lap and a whisker between first and second. I can only hope the next two races at MIS are that good.

The ARCA race was a great race.

It was a pretty good race with a great finish! Many of those drivers had never driven at those speeds. Surprisingly, it was a pretty clean race!

Had they all been wearing destructor plates, and been crawling around in a big pack, we would be singing a much different tune, I think!

Damn good race, even though Roush money/horsepower won.

Kaitlyn does a great job. I plan on stopping by the Speed stage today because she might remember me (from yesterday) and that would make me feel cooler than I know I am.
