No doubt DEIfan, no doubt. That's unbelievable that he walked away from that. You can hardly tell that's a race car.:(

Mike was so damn lucky that the passenger side took the brunt of the force.

I cannot believe that some track official forgot to secure the damn gate! I sure hope that person no longer has a job. :mad: :kaioken:

If I were Harmon and Richard Childress I'd be sending a repair bill to Bristol Motor Speedway for that one.
 
I understand he had a cut in his side that required a few stiches.

I still hope the official track nitwit that didn't secure the gate has no job this evening! !

It is just unreal that Mike Harmon survived that wreck. Of course he wants to race this weekend, b/c if he doesn't he'll have to think about how close to death he really was. Had that car just broke apart a few more inches, that could have been fatal. And all this b/c someone forgot to secure the gate.
 
Caught the wreck out of the corner of my eye on sv and thought it was a replay of mikies at first. Then i payred attention, man that one was worse. Couldn't believe he walked away.
 
In all my years as a race fan, and all the gruesome twisted sheet metal I've seen, nothing compares to that. Nothing. You look at that car, and you look at the impact that killed Earnhardt, and you just shake your head. I know all about the front end impact on the Earnhardt deal, so save yourselves the keystrokes. All I meant was the appearance of what is left of the car. And to think Harmon walked out of it. Unbelievable. Has anyone woke his wife up yet? Cuz you know she fainted dead away. Had to.
 
I just saw the replays again & TN_Ward you are exactly right about the compairison of wrecks. You could see Mike strech out in the belts then pulled back into the seat during the replay!
I'm still in awe!

I made the mistake of not saying how gladd I was to see that mike walked away last night in my treads. But I was very happy too.

That is still just ???? I have no words.
