Team Rensi Motorsports Co-Owner and President Sam Rensi announced this afternoon that Jeff Green will be unable to drive the # 25 Team Marines Ford as previously announced. Contractual conflicts surfaced after the announcement was made Monday Afternoon that will prevent Green from driving for Team Rensi Motorsports. Team Rensi Motorsports has named Mike McLaughlin to drive the # 25 Team Marines Ford for Friday night’s NASCAR Busch Series Food City 250 race. An announcement on the driver plans for the remainder of the season will be made next week. (08-25-04)

So..............maybe they were a little hasty in their firing of Bobby Jr!! With Green they had a past Busch Champion in the seat...........what has Mike McLaughlin done in the Bush series? Has he won one yet?

Yeah, you would think something like that would be one of the first things they check on seeing it has come up with other drivers.

It is rumored, Mike has been asked to take the wheel of the Team Marines #25 for another race. I think Mike done a great job last night.
