I think I've had just about enough of Mike's "crap" stories. How does this guy even get a freaking NASCAR credential? He does not have enough class to work for the National Enquier. I mean every single rumor he has ever reported for the most part come up false or way off base.

Is their really an electrical crisis hanging like a black cloud over MIS????

Is Ryan Pemberton leaving Ford to become a Winston Cup crew cheif???

How about:

No more post-race burnouts. That's apparently the word from NASCAR execs after Greg Biffle's Busch victory burnout in St. Louis, which led a blown tire, which in turn brought Biffle's car through the post-race inspection station too low. NASCAR is telling teams that any driver who does that again and blows a tire risks having the win taken away.

He even had a story last year that had NASCAR going to a Eorupean stlye qualifying format at Sears Point,

I think I know whats going on hear though. I'd bet his sources have an agenda of feeding him false reports to get him out of the garage. The guy is just plain bad.

Mulhern has been doing this for years.

First one I recall off-hand was back in 1997 when he reported that Hendrick Motor Sports was being sold. The folks at HMS were incensed, because Mike never even picked up the phone to ask any questions from them before printing the story. A retracton was demanded.

As to this batch.....

Just the other day the blown tire deal was discussed, btw this exact same story was reported last year, and NASCAR simply allows the crew to replace the tires under officials scrutiny to ensure that is all they do. It is much like the deal that will allow air pressure and fluid levels to be brought to spec in order to pass post race inspection.

Ryan Pemberton has a quote somewhere denying this story, he says it comes up from time to time and is totally unfounded.

The only problems the blackout is causing at MIS is flights getting into the area, and perhaps some problems with gas stations which have a difficult time pumping gas without electricity. At least so far. But that headline would hardly draw much attention I reckon.

Spaghetti Jounalism.........throw enough stuff at the wall and some is bound to stick!!

Is this guy really Jayson Blair in disguise? Just another guy writing false two-bit articles to get paychecks.
