Have only seen one post on Mike Wallace running into the parked cars under the red flag . Bonehead move ? Spotter's fault? Nascar didn't display the red light in time? What happened there?

I heard one thing last night where the crew chief was trying to get him on the radio just before he hit, no response on his end, they surmise radio issue.

You would think he could see the yellow and then the red light though.

The yellow lights were on at the time . His radio was not working . There was a car behind him that dove to the infield because he didn't know they had stopped under yellow either.

That wasn't all on Wallace. Other cars swerved to avoid hitting other cars when the red came out.

I wouldn't let mike or Kenny drive my street car much less racecar.

Not supposed to stop on the track during a yellow...that is why.

Nobody's gonna confuse Mike Wallace for David Pearson. However, lack of communication, confusion over the red flag, and apparently radio issues, caused that wreck yesterday.
