Who's he driving for this year? And what are they running? I think this kid can drive if given a decent car.

He's wheeling the No. 09 Miccosukee Indian Gaming Dodge for Phoenix Racing, not sure who th owner is .
Hell he looked fast in testing...............!

Geoff Bodine's sponsor from last season...

Ugh.

He's my pet underdog I guess. He replaces Atwood, who replaced Blaney, who replaced Robert Pressley, etc etc.

He will also be driving for about half of the BGN races with the Bagi Brothers #4 team with Gieco as a sponsor for most races.

I am like TN-WARD I think M. Wallace can drive a race car. For some reason he has missed the boat on rides since he started breaking into nascar. Never can put anything good together.

I really don't know or haven't figured out what is the problem with Mike. In my opinion, he's a better driver than Kenny, but Kenny gets all the breaks and still hasn't done anything. Mike just might have other problems though. Remember when Shana Robinson had the pole for a Busch race and Mike said that if she didn't get out of the way, he'd knock her out of the way? He did just that and there was one heck of a storm afterwards, but he's continued to race and her history everyone knows. However, there may be more to that than we've been told. Just wondering.

I believe that the 09 is owned by James Finch, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Your right the 09 is owned by James Finch of Phoniex Racing. Same team as the #1 BGN team

I saw Mike Wallace race at Pikes Peak back in 1998, he got a lap down in the Re-Max race came back and won it. Then went out and won the truck race on the last lap! He definetly knows how to drive,in the right ride he could be very successful.

Kenny gets the rides because of his sense of humor and personality. Mike is more serious and settled. Compare Kenny to Mike Waltrip and they are like Shake N' Bake in a bag. Mix'em up and they are almost identical. Great personalities and questionable driving skills. Some guys have all the luck.

I had a chance to work with and see Mike drive an underfunded team car in the arly '90's, and in that set of circumstances did not do too badly, considering.

Like TNW I think in the right situation, Mike could do well. He certainly showed the world his ability in the last few races with the Mobil sponsored car.

James Finch does not skimp on his entries in either Busch or Winston Cup. He gave Geoff Bodine good equipment in the past and Mike has delivered above average results in practice for the year 2003. Let's hope his good fortune continues. Who knows, he might be a surprise winner of the Daytona 500 making him the 10,000 to one shot I mentioned in an earlier post about underfunded teams.

Mike seems to do pretty well at Daytona so winning wouldn't be out of the picture as far as I'm concerned. Besides, anyone can win that one as long as they are there at the end and have lots of luck.
