Mikey...maybe it's time to move on?

Do you want to be only known as a guy that only wins restrictor plate races? And everybody is going to say that the only reason you won those races is because you were in DEI powered equipment?

Early on during today’s race, you did what any brown nosing company man would do. Instead of challenging the #16 for the lead, you cut across the track to run with the #8 that is real tight and running at the top of the track, almost causing a wreck just to get there. Late in the race, your leading, and you best friend uses the lapped #24 car to hang you out to dry and shuffle you back to 5th place. After the race is done, the crew chief of that #8 car says that your not a very good teammate anymore? I guess your you-know-what was not buried deep enough up you-know-who’s rear section.

I guess I’m just a rebel...but if that was me, my size #12 boot would be up a couple folk’s back sides at the DEI meeting on Monday morning & I’d be saying CYA!!! Because I know that as good as the fella is in the #8...he wasn’t winning all them damn races without my support!

  Man I....BWWWaaahhhhaaaaaaa   No seriously I wou----- :XXROFL: :XXROFL: Ok Ok ...what I mean i......BWWWAHHHHHAAAAAHHAAAAA!!!!!

Oh this is a good one old buddy!  Trouble in paradise for the boys!

If I was Mikey Id tell the Eury brothers to go... well you know.

But Mikey was pretty doggone emphatic that he "loves Jr." he really "loves Jr".
How many times did he mention that he "loves Jr" in his interview?

I got the impression that maybe there's something he and Jr should sit down together with Buffey and maybe tell her? :(

Mikey "loves" Jr.
He said it! He admitted it! Several times!

Now do we all know why he's driving for DEI?

Oh come on now Bob...it's close to VD day...love is in the air!

Who else in their right mind would want him? A career loser who has never done one single notable thing except ride some coat tails to a few plate wins. Heck, I'd rather have Mike Skinner in a car I owned.

EMP...not that I'm the biggest Mikey fan...but given the right equipment (team)....you never know!

Junior and Mikey do respect for each other. I do not even think Mikey's team has a problem. I think its Eury Senior that is causing the rift. If they do not get it under control it could lead to resentment between the teams.

To hear it told, he's in the best equipment known to man and he still can't do anything 32 out of 36 races. If that DEI stuff is as all powerful as we are told it is looks like both of them would be capable of doing something somewhere else.

Doesn't it?

You might want to ask a Steve Park fan about that!

I guess I understand...all the talk about how the big boys at Nascar Central keep changing the rules to make it more favorable for the certain driver that they want to win their hallowed championship. It sucks when a yank wins it playing by the rules they set...so change them to a different set of rules!

This is all a bunch of crap, if you guys really think there is going to be a rift between the 2 teams you need to wake up. The 2 will be together as much as possible come sunday, that will be their best chance to win. Mikey was a pretty good RP racer before he came to DEI, i think that is one of the reasons why Dale Sr. hired him. I just think that this is being blown way out of proportion as usual, Eury will kiss and make up and everything will be fine.

I think this is all just a ploy to make other teams think DEI is weak entering this years 500, those two are probably going to pull each out fast and run 1-2 most of the second half of the race...

OH Come on you Kenseth Krusaders !!!!!!
This is getting rediculous !!!!!
Don't you have any more faith in your driver than that ??? If Kenseth is the real Champion I think he is, the change in the point structure will not make any difference to his chances for another championship.

The way all the Kenseth Krusaders bitch about this change, they leave the impression the only way thier man can win another championship is to ride around collecting points through consistency because they think he might not win races and now mean old NASCAR has changed the rules.

Boo-Hoo, Wahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

If my asessment is incorrect, well, so be it.

In the meantime, re-read some of the posts made by various and assorted Kenseth Krusaders who leave that impression.
Matt Kenseth has proven he is a winner and has something to base his championship on. Kenseth also has the ability to win one or two more.
Why give the "wi****wasmydriverwannabes" something to rag on the masses of Kenseth Krusaders about.
Matt Kenseth has enough ability to place a second trophy on the kitchen counter.

With the way Kenseth Krusaders whine about this change in the point structure, it sounds as if they doubt the qualities their driver.
No matter how you cut it, he is a Champion and he can very well do it again. It might take awhile and he might very well be the Terry LaBonte of this generation but no matter, the talent is there.

WIth the cheerleading squad doing the boo-hoo dance in the background, it is like preparing for a funeral. One championship and Kenseth is done. Stick a fork in him, he can't win unless the point system reverts to the way it was in 2003.

If I were a Kenseth Krusader, my voice would be "bring it on, we're ready to kick butt and take names. As a matter of fact we already have quite a few".

GEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about whine and cheese(heads) !!!!!!!!!!!!

good post, but did anybody see windtunnel? Mickey said there is no problem between him and JR. and main thing he's mad about tony's stupid comment is that it take the foucus off the race. He's right, the first thing you heard on speed today, Is there trouble in DEI" and you know that's the first thing they are gonna talk about sunday. I've always said they need to get rid of tony sr. he cost jr. a couple of victories last year.

Whiz DOES have a point as I tried to bring into focus in my 'unthinkable' topic a few days back. Matt and the Roush gang could dominate just as easily under this point system as the last.

Whiz, take the blinders off Bud! Kenseth Krusaders are bitching? No, I think it was the majority of fans.

Does anyone know what Dirty "MO" Posse means? A bit old to be single and hanging out with the "boys", wouldn't ya' say there, Jr.

As for DEI hooking up - as usual - they won't be able to if someone runs them in the wall.

Well it won't be Lil'E's backside. Because unless it has changed Lil'E doesn't go to any 8am meetings. That was one of Mikey's and Park's complaints. How they had to be there and he slept until noon.

To my understanding, the MO is short for Mooresville NC, where this roving band of ne'er-do-wells is based.

I'm not sure how the kenseth krusader part entered into this thread. I never looked at it like kenseth couldn't win another championship with the new rules. I always thought it was ironic that the year before Kenseth had the most wins on the year and didn't win the championship and they didn't talk about changing it then.

That was a couple of years ago, I think all that has changed now.

It may have changed. I haven't heard anything one way or another. I just know both Waltrip and Park made the statement and it went unchallenged. I would hazard a guess that if Lil'E is still running with his Dirty Mo Posse and hanging out with Kid Rock and that crowd and still partying with his sponsor's product well into the night that he became so famous for that not much has changed. Teresa was still hesitant last year on giving him total control of the Busch team. I haven't seen where his stature has improved in DEI. But, maybe it has changed. He needs to grow up and assume some responsibility at some point...

There's a nominee for stupid post of the week :newbie:

Yeah, almost as stupid as "Your next and 1st nextel cup champion". But forgive me as I sometimes forget how touchy some of golden boys fans can be.

As for Waltrip moving on, I'll wager that if he doesn't help Jr. win on Sunday he'll be gone. When was the last time Waltrip's crew chief ran him out of gas intentionally?

Steve, that's really uncalled for. Haven't you ever asked a question on this board? As for the DEI hooking up part, that is an opinion. Around here everyone has a right to their opinion, You may choose to disagree, but let's leave the name calling out of this.

the last time somebody refered "putting somebdoy into the wall" the mods were all over it and I heard several times "attack the post not the poster" and that's what I did I was refering to the post being stupid. The someone running them into the wall part of the post.

Sorry, I guess drivers don't "put people in the wall", in nascar.

Ladies, Ladies.... Grow up!

Its race day and you all are fighting like a bunch of 12 year olds! Bury the knife and get ready for the 500!

Ladies? I'm not arguing and I'm not mad I'm voicing my opinion and defending my post

GO JR.
