 Why did they have Hamlin get in that car?! Aric Amirola (sp?) was doing GREAT!
Also, Rusty contiuously saying "these Busch Grand National cars..." is annoying me.
sorry for the rants, maybe I just had a bad day

it must be extremely difficult for Rusty to keep defending his son, and the rest of the ESPN crew to be oh-so-diplomatic when Steven makes "poor choices" on the track...

I bet Rusty would give a lot to be on the radio. LOL

When is he going to realize that Steven just isn't ready. Yes, he does have flashes of competence --- but those are far out-weighed by his impatience and screw-ups.

Denny is flying!! but I still think they should have left Aric in that car!

The race has ended and Hamlin won so now JGR will probably say that their decision to pull Aric from the car was justified because who knows if he could've made that move that Hamlin made that eventualy led to him winning the race. Aric stiils gets the points & pay but I understand completely his pain. I'm sure he probably felt that he could've won the race but Hamlin was there and is a proven winner in the Busch series. With the car as good as it was with Aric in it, i'm sure they (JGR) made the judgement call that if he's that good, Hamlin can take it easily. Being at Rockwell Automation's home track i'm sure greatly influenced that decision as well.

why did the race end almost an hour late? lengthy red flag in the middle?

Just a total screwjob by JGR. Almirola had repeatedly proved that he has talent and ability. Two poles at the track and a great race and they yanked him. Lost a lot of respect tonight for the upper ups over there.
