Yankees/Twins: New York wins today 3-1, up in the series 2-1

Braves/Cubs: Braves win today 6-4, series now tied at 2. It's all on the line tomorrow. Go Cubs!

Giants/Marlins: Marlins win today, take the series 3-1. Talk about an upset.

BoSox/A's: My BoSox are down 2-0 in the series, but they currently have a 1-0 lead in the top of the 3rd. Lowe looks sharp, and the A's defense fell apart in the 2nd.

Now through 3 1/2, still 1-0 Boston.

Lowe's got that sinkerball working - 9 of 12 outs have been on ground balls, with 2 K's and one flyball.
 
Still 1-0 after 5 full. Been quite the pitcher's duel.

The Sox have had a few chances, but haven't gotten the big hit. And I hope they do before my fingernails have vanished entirely.
 
Boy, the Sox got a break there.

Ball gets loose in a throw to the plate, but Varitek blocks plate, and Byrnes never touches it. Smart move by Varitek, and another big break.
 
Not much of a baseball fan. But I would like to see the Cubs win it all.It's been along long time.
 
Now tied 1-1 in the middle of the 7th. Oakland got a run in the 6th, then the loaded the bases in the 7th, but Lowe shut them down.

Now the offense needs to step it up. Ramirez and Ortiz are a combined 1-for-23 in the series...that is sad.
 
The Red Sox got lucky, that was a blown call with Tejada rounding third getting triped up by Mueller . Go A's!!!
 
so it only took since 1908 to win another series, go Cubs! the Marlins are already fried.
 
Congrats to the Cubs! They got hosed by a missed call or it would have been a shutout. The Braves scored their only run on a ball that Kenny Lofton clearly caught. The umpire thought he short hopped it and allowed the run to score. They got hosed and still beat the Braves in the series.

Their pitching is unbelieveable. Kerry Wood is plain dominating and Mark Prior is even better. I could actually see them winning it all this year. ;)
