1) How is Nick Markakis not in the All Star... he's had a fantastic season on all levels?

2) Are the Orioles ever going to win again? :(

I couldn't tell you exactly why Markakis isn't on the team. He is a very good player and the one guy that concerns me when the Indians play them.

As to your second question? Yes, they will win occasionally, but I don't see them really being a contender as long as they play in that division. No matter how much money the Orioles spend, they will be paying an awful lot to come in third place in their division.

I disagree the Rays don't spend a lot of money and they contend. The Orioles have a poor minor league program, when is the last time you heard of a star coming up in their minor league program? They also don't sign good free agents.
