After Blewitt hit his third car of the day the announcers thought that something had to be said, so Mike Joy remarked that Blewett was "..from New Jersey, where it's a rough and tumble crowd".

It sure would be nice to see this series get a decent television contract so more of these races could be seen. :beerbang:

Yeh it would be great if they showed the entire season, both the north and south tour.

They have been showing a good chunk of both seasons on versus this year and its been some good shows.

The VERSUS announcers are terrible, I have to watch the races on mute. They don't know a thing about the series.

"Bowman Gray Stadium, a few miles outside Winston Salem" it's in the middle of the city.

"Langley Speedway is different from Bowman-Gray because BGS is flat" so is Langley.

You can come up with a list of 10-20 idiotic Jimmy Spencer statements in just one hour long NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on Versus broadcast.

That's exactly what I thought when they said that. A lot of drivers don't like going, because it's so flat. I guess they have a tiny little point, becasue it's not as flat as BGS, but still.

And is it just me, or do the pit reporter fire suits look like something the Michilen man should wear?

Around 5:30 Friday morning,I was at the Big Apple food and gas store at the enterance to NHMS,when Wade Cole(#33) showed up at the pump with his Modified on a 1985 F-350 Flatbed. I asked how his ride was from Connecticut, and he said fine, and went on to explain that he had the ''High Dollar Hauler'' today. With that upbeat outlook on racing,he was one for me to root for that day.He does good at Thompson and Seekonk and Waterford, but like he told me,''This is our Daytona''!! He finished, took his car and put back on the "Hauler",and said ''I'll see ya at Waterford next weekend"!
That man truly loves to race.
