Langley Speedway has updated their schedule for 2010, and besides having a pair of USAR event, they have the Nascar Modifieds on the schedule for September 4th.

New promoter at Langley as well, Chuck Hall who's worked with the local paper. I'm hoping WAVY still covers the races.

Chuck Hall has done radio around here for years as well.

BTW, there was big stink at Langley recently. Owner Bill Mullis fired the old promoter (who also is a past owner) as well as two other people. No real reasons were given, but there were a number of articles in the paper. (you could probably search www.dailypress.com for the stories, they're failry recent)

Would love to travel up there to see our boys race, but that's a bit far for us to travel. Interesting in that this race is for the Southern Modifieds and the northern tour won't be there. However, the northern tour will race again at Martinsville without the southern tour, a combination race that has been run for four or five years now. But they will both race at Bristol again this coming year.
