I wish I could watch this race. Have those boys raced on that track before? If not, it's going to be something else for them. Other than NH, aren't all the other tracks 1/2 mile or less?
 
Wow. Left AND right turns. Aren't those chassis' setup specifically for ovals? I mean look at this photo:

The frame and everything is offset for only turning left. Aren't they going to have a butt-load of work to make them ready for a road course?

I wanna see this race baaaad. A properly setup mod with a good driver would absolutely kick a$$ to watch on a road course.
 
Buck, they run Dover.
This is a mile and a half road course in a car specifically built with a offset for left handers. Most of the turns here are rights.
Drivers aren't used to braking and shifting that'll be required.
I don't see any owner risking a 'good' car in what may very well turn into junk in this fiasco of a crashfest.
I can't find the list of entries.
 
I know in Nascar 2005 and Nascar 2007 video games i own they run on a road course but its mostly left turns

Let me ask y'all this...could they run this race in the opposite direction? It would be better for the drivers and cars.
 
I'm sure they could but on the web site it says they'll run in the traditional clockwise direction.
 
That first video shows them going around counter-clockwise and the second appears to be going clockwise. Also, in the second video, it just seemed to me that the bodies of the cars had been moved to the right some...i.e. the center of gravity.
