Here kitty, kitty, kitty
I worked during the race and was able to listen to it on the radio. I was heading back to the office when Montoya had his bad pit stop and then had to come back in for a lug nut. I then heard that he had some more problems on the track, but nothing more after that because was inside the building and the reception there is all but non-existant. I was able to listen to the last 20 or so laps on the way home and when I pulled into the garage, I listened to the last two laps. Those radio boys made it sound so exciting and I wished that I had been able to see the finish on the TV, but I'd have never made it. Anyway, I kept waiting to see where Ambrose finished so that I could tell my Aussie friend, but couldn't find it on the TV. I finally went to NASCAR.com and clicked on the leaderboard and saw where Ambrose and Montoya finished on the same lap, 21 down. Then a bit later on the local news, I heard that the two of them tangled and that put them out. What happened? Who's fault would it have been? Without knowing anything about it except to know that Ambrose was down a couple of laps from the normal racing and that Montoya was down because of a lug nut, my gut feeling is that JPM was probably a bit over aggressive in his trying to regain his position which at the time was a top five. I can see JPM not giving Marcos any breaks and the two simply wrecked. But I do know from my friend that Ambrose can be very aggressive as well, but I've yet to see that in his still very young carreer here in America.
