Hi,I know I`m biased towards Marcos Ambrose but I`m just rapt that he will be driving with Carl Edwards,I really think that they have a chance for a podium. It`s great to see Marcos getting some recognition in Nascar.
He really is a great bloke..and drive...WOW,He is very smooth and talented, every category he has driven in he has excelled.
Really hope he can get a win in Sprint this year.
Thank you all for welcoming an ignorant Australian to this forum.

I like Ambrose too. He's probably the nicest guy in the Sprint Cup series now. I'm glad that he's proving he can drive the wheels off these cars too.

As far as the Grand-Am series, I think more NASCAR drivers should do these events as time allows. It's a great, and often over-loooked series which can really benefit from the exposure NASCAR drivers would bring to the sport.

Scott Pruett and JC France are my favorite drivers in that series.

Loved his comment after the Bristol race, he said something about towards the end of the race "here I am racing with Mark, Kyle, Jimmy and Jr for the win at Bristol,,what am I doing here?" Smiling and laughing as he said it. Very humble.

In the service I knew a couple of Aussies and when the America's Cup was raced in Newport in the early 80's became friends with several more.

Great people, love to have fun and don't even think about keeping up with them drinking!

I agree that it would be nice to see more nascar drivers in the Grand Am series. Pruett though is not one of my favorites. Grand Am has the old Trans Am to thank for its popularity.

I can't imagine how that opinion comes about :sarcasm:

If NASCAR would listen to some of the fans and drivers and add another road course or two as grand-am companian events, maybe the series would be doing better...

I agree.

The two road courses on the schedule are among my favorite races of the year. They're a nice break from the boring 1.5 mile ovals that plague the current schedule.

I'd really like to see some street courses, but NASCAR hates tracks that can't seat 80,000+ fans. A night race on the streets Vegas would be freaking sweet!
