A great way to make money is to buy real estate near a local track and then complain about the noise endless until the locals shut the track down. The price you can sell your real estate for goes way up (since it's not near a track anymore) and you make a tidy profit.

Muffler move, that's already happened in many parts of the country. We even have it at Bowman Gray Stadium, but to be honest, I can't tell the difference between one of those mods with a muffler and one that doesn't have one. However, those cars can't get on the track without one.
 
LoBac 12 inch muffler is required for all classes at Seekonk,Waterford and Stafford. I'm not sure about Thompson, last time we ran there we took it off, yep loud.:D

Seekonk was built on a old chicken farm ( a real one that lays eggs, not like the ones outside of Vegas:D) in 1946. Rural country then now surrounded by housing developments who constantly complain over noise/traffic. Things that were there and they knew about when they purchased their houses.

However their combined property taxes exceed that of the track so you know who always wins.:(
