I never knew until this year they even did this... the crew chief for the team with the most improved lap times in the second half of the race is awarded the weekly "MOOG Problem Solver of the Race Award". The winning CC gets 100k and a trophy at the end of the year. Now I know you guys have to know theres a reason Im putting this up :p Thats right, for the fourth time this season the 22 crew chief Todd Gordon won this award last week. Interesting?.. no not really.. Whats kind of interesting is that now there is a 4 way tie for this award with 2 races to go. Todd Gordon (22), Paul Wolfe (2), Gil Martin(29) and Matt Borland (39) each have won this award 4 times this year. There has never been a tie with 2 to go.. let alone a 4 way tie lol.. not sure if this is the best thing to win based on the fact that u have to do bad the first half but I think its probably appreciated by the crew chiefs. If there is a tie, it goes to the team highest in driver points.

So, it's awarded based only on adjustments made to the car and not the driver, correct? ;)

Any way to work Joey into another thread I guess.

They do this award each week. Results of all of the awards are posted on jayski's site.
I found it in Joey stuff..but I think its interesting that there's a 4 way tie with 2 to go though. Witht hat said.. hopefully the 22 wins lol.

Your threads may be better received if you worked a few childish names disguised as pretentious British terms into them ;)
